The premiere was attended by director Mahay Alayón, screenwriter Paula Lloret, and lead cast member Mapi Sagaseta.

The production, set to premiere on 28 May on Divergente, has today released its official trailer. 

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 23 May 2025 – ISII GROUP  hosted the premiere of La farola del mar yesterday in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The film is the latest release from the company and will debut on Divergente, ISII GROUP’s platform dedicated to content under 59 minutes, on 28 May.

The event welcomed director Mahay Alayón, screenwriter Paula Lloret, and several cast members including Mapi Sagaseta, Sofía Marrero, Javier de Lathouwer, and Maikol Hernández.  

Audiences at the premiere were treated to the moving love story of Ana Mari and Antonio, portrayed in adulthood by Mapi Sagaseta (Yo me bajo en la próxima, ¿y usted?, Sangre de mayo) and Carlos Olalla (Grupo 7, Acacias 38), and in their youth by Sofía Marrero (La Sala) and Javier de Lathouwer (Vacaciones de verano).

La farola del mar is produced by Inefable Productions, an ISII GROUP company, with Lydia Palencia as executive producer, Ernesto Báez López as director of photography, and Lisandro Mederosas as art director.

This title is one of 13 original productions developed from the winning projects of the inaugural Break On Time 59’ National Screenplay Competition, an initiative by ISII GROUP, which also announced the launch of its second edition earlier this week.
