Deep Com Roots, a distributor and international sales agency and strategic partner of ISII Group, today unveils the official poster and official trailer for Summer Days.

The film, directed by Chema de la Peña, features a charismatic cast led by Maggie Civantos (Vis a Vis, Antes de la quema), Pau Simon (Nudes, El refugio atómico), Roberto Álamo (Goya Award winner for Que Dios nos perdone and La gran familia española) and Berta Galo (La moderna, Servir y proteger). The ensemble is rounded out by special guest appearances from Pilar Castro (Gordos, Ventajas de viajar en tren) and Isaac Dos Santos (Hierro, Las noches de Tefía).

Filmed along the coast of Mogán, the island breeze sets the tone for a story filled with mystery and eroticism, centered on a passion that is as impossible as it is inevitable, and a secret that eventually comes to light. Summer Days also promises to captivate audiences with its tenderness, but above all with an emotional reflection on life.

The director says he feels the film has “all the ingredients I wanted for Summer Days: the sensuality of the heat, the light of summer, forbidden desires, family conflicts, furtive glances… and four actors at the top of their game portraying characters whose lives will be changed forever by the summer.”

Chema de la Peña, an accomplished filmmaker with twelve feature films to his name, has won over audiences with box-office hits such as Isi Disi and 23F, while also earning recognition from the industry. He was nominated for the Goya Award for Best Documentary Feature and won the Forqué Award in the same category for Marisol, llámame Pepa. His film Sud express was selected for the Official Selection of the San Sebastián International Film Festival, among other achievements.

Led by ISII Group President Silvia Carvalho, the group’s production company, Inefable Productions, developed the project with the support of services provided by its associated consulting company, SIA Production Systems, with Lydia Palencia serving as executive producer.

Días de agosto is based on an original screenplay by David Sueiro, one of the winners of the first international Break on Time screenplay competition, held by ISII Group in 2024.

The film’s key creative departments are led by Marisa Muñoz as Production Manager, Dani Salo as Director of Photography, Itziar Sagasti as Production Designer, Gara Hamad as Costume Designer, Sonia Pilar Blanco as Head of Hair, and Esther Muñoz as Head of Makeup.
